Hermes Abrasives, a leading international company manufacturing and selling coated and bonded abrasives, announces the appointment of Tony Bennett to Special Markets Manager, promoting new channels of distribution. Mr. Bennett's successful career as Regional Sales Manager for various geographic areas, his knowledge of the distribution and converter industries and his understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of traditional channels made him the perfect candidate for this new role.

Hermes is also pleased to announce the promotion of Ron Gilbertson to Regional Sales Manager - Northeast Region. Over the last 7 years Mr. Gilbertson successfully developed his territory into one of the top sales areas in the country.

Both gentlemen will assume their new duties on April 1, 2000.
