Ken Lamay Appointed Vice President

Hermes Abrasives, Ltd. announces the promotion of Mr. Ken Lamay to the Executive position of Vice President of Hermes Abrasives, Ltd., effective July 19, 2004.

As Vice President, Mr. Lamay will have continued responsibility for Hermes' marketing, inside sales, and customer service functions. In addition, he will assume responsibility for Purchasing and Inventory Control.

A graduate of Penn State University, Mr. Lamay has been active in the abrasives industry since 1982. He joined Hermes Abrasives in June of 1990 as Marketing and Sales Administration Manager and was promoted to National Sales Manager in May 2003.

Since joining Hermes, Ken has made many contributions to the success of the sales and marketing areas as well as to the company in general.
