Hermes Abrasives, Ltd., one of the world's leading producers of industrial abrasives, announces the opening of new facilities for Abrasive Technologies & Supplies (ATS). ATS, a key Service Partner for Hermes Abrasives, supplies abrasives and other consumable products to the furniture and woodworking industries.

With the move, Abrasive Technologies & Supplies upgraded the storage layout, providing more space for increased stock and better picking efficiency. The new building also doubled the loading dock doors for easier movement of merchandise to delivery trucks, improving order turnaround times.

The new location is conveniently located in Hickory, North Carolina, and services the North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia furniture industry. An open house, to showcase the facilities, will be held in early Fall of this year.

The move was effective July 3, 2000.
