BS 118, from Hermes Abrasives, is specifically designed for the challenges of sanding lacquer in the furniture industry. A silicon-carbide grain utilizing a resin over resin bond coated onto an "F" weight paper, provides a fine, smooth, consistent surface finish. In addition, an antistatic coating reduces the dust on the sanding piece. BS 118 is available in rolls, belts, and discs in grit range P 240 to P 1200.
