Hermes Abrasives, one of the world's leading producers of industrial abrasives, announces the addition of CB 444 Sapphire Blue® Fibre Discs to our product line.

CB 444 Fibre Discs contain Sapphire Blue® ceramic grain coated onto vulcanized fibre and are ideal for a variety of light to heavy duty metal applications.

CB 444 J Discs, with a J weight vulcanized fibre backing, provide more flexibility for the finer grits and are available in grits P80 - P100. CB 444 X Discs utilize a stiffer X weight vulcanized fibre backing required in coarse grit applications and are available in grits #36, #50, #60 (ANSI).

Both CB 444 J and CB 444 X are available in the following sizes: 4 ½"x7/8", 5"x7/8", 7"x7/8", and 9 1/8"x7/8".

CB 444 discs are recommended for use on the following applications: metal grinding including blending and finishing of welded assemblies, flat or contoured sheet metal items, fast weld and bead removal.
