Hermes Abrasives, one of the world's leading producers of industrial abrasives, announces the addition of SB 316 43 YR op, an antistatic product featuring a Zero Tolerance Joint, to our product line.

SB 316 43 YR op incorporates aluminum-oxide and Sapphire Blue® grain on a patented stitch bonded backing, providing improved durability, higher material removal rates and more consistent surface finishes.

SB 316 43 YR op features a Zero Tolerance (inserted tape) joint, so that the thickness of the belt remains unchanged in the region of the joint. A patent is currently pending for the joint with the inserted tape.

SB 316 43 YR op is available in narrow and wide belt forms up to 53" width, and lengths depending on the sanding machine used. The grits available are P36, P40, P60, P80, P100, P120, P150 and P180.

Applications include intermediate and finish sanding of soft and hard woods and abrasive planing.
